Hi Julia I drink two cups of decaffeinated tea a day. I gave up the caffeine version several years ago as I was getting lots of headaches. I experimented and cut out caffeine and low and behold no headaches. I do not drink coffee but instead drink lots of water during the day. However, those two cups of tea mark the start and end of my day and I really enjoy them. One of my few pleasures left in life apart from chocolate Jackie xx

I'm afraid I have to start the day with a cup of coffee - otherwise I'm even more bad tempered than usual! xxx

What will they tell us next? Water is bad for us? I don't care, I can't give up my tea. It's coffee I try not to drink too often, although I love a good strong cup now and then.
Some researcher is always coming up with something that isn't good for us, then the next week there's a conflicting view being touted.

Since I already have RA (was the tea to blame) I'd might as well continue. But- I can't drink it for a couple of days after taking my mtx as it makes me feel yuk!

I have always drank a lot of tea but i dont think it causes R A. Has anyone tried Green Tea blend ? Its a blend of black and green tea . 60% green and 40% black and its really nice. If you dont like green tea you might like this and its good for you . Kathleen Mc.

I can't give mine up!
I do have just two a day now with a sneaky third one when I'm feeling rebellious (that's most days, lol) but I avoid tea at mealtimes, as proven this can cause problems with anaemia by affecting iron absorption
Kathleen, i'd like to try that Green / black tea mix, which brand do you recommend?
Love Liz xx

I drink green tea with lemon, I think it's a Fairtrade brand, probably Clipper. It's very refreshing.
